Nazar Obod
Mid-level Analytics Engineer · KSE Marketing
Nazar Obod is a Business Economics student at KSE and a mid-level analytics engineer on the KSE marketing team, where he and the team build marketing analytics for the university’s units. He took 1st place at Genesis IT School XVI, 2nd at the Code the City urban data hackathon and 3rd at Hack the Classroom.
Why international opportunities matter to me+
International hackathons and summits put me in a room with people who build faster and think differently than I do. That is the quickest way to test my ideas against a stronger field, learn how top teams actually work, and bring it back to KSE. I also want Ukrainian students to be seen there as people who compete at the top level.
Software Engineering and Business Analysis · Year 4 · KSE
Victoria Loziak
I am a fourth-year Software Engineering and Business Analysis student. I am interested in artificial intelligence and how it changes the world. I love drawing, mountains and hiking.
Why international opportunities matter to me+
For me, international events are a way to keep developing, improve my skills, learn new things firsthand and keep moving forward. But the most valuable part is the people. I love meeting people who are passionate about the same ideas, sharing experiences and finding like-minded people from around the world.
A second-year STEM student — not replaced by AI yet.
Why international opportunities matter to me+
Staying in your own bubble does not give you an objective understanding of the standards and opportunities in today’s world. Taking part in a hackathon or summit is an exceptional opportunity to put yourself to the test.
I am a Software Engineering and Business Analysis student at KSE and a Product Engineer at Headway Inc. I love interesting problems and books.
Why international opportunities matter to me+
Every international event offers something that neither courses nor work can: new ideas, a different way of thinking, and people who are stronger than me in some areas. I grow fastest in unfamiliar environments. Afterwards, I share what I have learned so that the experience does not remain mine alone.
I develop mobile applications in Java and am interested in programming, cybersecurity and economics. I am constantly learning, working on my own projects and taking part in hackathons, and I am not afraid of difficult technical challenges. I value creativity, independence, unconventional thinking and the opportunity to turn ideas into real products.
Hi, my name is Kristina and I study Artificial Intelligence at KSE. For the last two years at university I have been building projects using AI for my community.
Why international opportunities matter to me+
Participating in hackathons and other project-driven events is extremely important to me, as I believe they are among the most effective and fun ways to develop my skills. I learn best by putting my knowledge into practice, working on unfamiliar problems, and working alongside people who approach problems differently. I am particularly excited about the possibility of stepping outside the familiar academic format, challenging myself in new settings, and contributing to projects that bring something genuinely useful.
I am a fourth-year Artificial Intelligence student at KSE and PA to the CEO of KSE.
Why international opportunities matter to me+
Attending international hackathons, schools and summits matters to me because it is an intensive way to gain cutting-edge knowledge, represent KSE and Ukraine on the global stage, and find like-minded people and partners.
I am Kateryna, a second-year Cybersecurity student at KSE. I love mathematics, logic and cryptography — anything where the solution is not obvious. I actively take part in hackathons across different fields, from DevOps to AI chatbots. In my free time, I travel and swim.
Why international opportunities matter to me+
Above all, international events are a chance to ask questions directly of people who have already done what I dream of doing. To see how teams turn technology into products, and how they got there.
I love events not only for the new skills I can add to my tech stack, but also for the networking. It is wonderful to find a team at a summit and then go to a hackathon together to work on a challenge.
Our ambassadors connect the curiosity and ideas of KSE students with the wider mathematical and AI community. Through international activities, they share Ukrainian perspectives, bring knowledge back to the club and help new collaborations grow.
